Northern Ohio Cardiac Imaging Association
The NOCIA Founders' Student GRANT
Congratulations to Golnar Pahldad

Golnar Pahldad is awarded a $250 grant in honor of the NOCIA founders in 2009 and to celebrate 10 years in Ohio. NOCIA is excited to start this new tradition to help graduating echo students help pay for their registry exams or other fees that will help them start off their new careers. The goal is to give back to the students that will become the leaders in the next 10 years.

Golnar Pahldad is graduating in May from the Diagnostic Medical Sonography program at Cuyahoga Community College. She will be receiving her Associate of Applied Science and Associate of Arts. She has taken and passed both the SPI and Adult Echo board exams. She plans on pursuing her Bachelors in Science this upcoming Fall. Golnar was also newly hired as a Full-time Echo tech at Aultman Hospital in Canton, Ohio. She said, winning this award is going to help her pay for board exam fees.
